The Graduate School is the university support unit responsible for all aspects of postgraduate studies (masters and doctorates), safeguards the quality and specialized nature of the courses, and promotes interuniversity cooperation and internationalization.
Functions
Area of student outreach and international students affairs
- Support at the Outreach Permanent Commission of the URV.
- Internationalisation of the masters and PhD’s programmes at the URV: national and international exhibitions, agreements, interactions.
- Support and welcoming for the international students
- Coordination of the outreach materials of the Graduate School.
- Management of the scholarships, URV agreements and grants for the Graduate School.
- Graduate online marketing plan.
- Coordination of the support policy for the graduate and postgraduate programmes.
- Outreach campaigns for national and international students: Service for Students Information and Support.
- Support for international students: web, welcoming party, language groups, administrative proceedures for living in Spain and studying at the URV
- Management and distribution of the Funds directed for internationalization, outreach, grants and student support.
Area of study organization and administration
- Assistance to coordinators of doctoral programmes and to faculties and schools responsible for official postgraduate programmes
- Improvement in the quality of the studies
- Academic management (with the support of the Academic Management Service)
- Submission of the Doctoral Thesis and Doctoral Thesis Defence. University Doctoral Archive and Publication of the Doctoral Thesis (TDX y TESEO)
- Management of the budget assigned to the programmes
- Assistance to the Postgraduate and Doctoral Committee
