Compulsory student mobility: mobility is not required to obtain URV´s official master´s degree, but, it is so to obtain the interuniversity master´s degree.

Presentation

The Master's degree, named Mundusfor (http://www.ugr.es/~mundusfor/), aims to provide students with the instruments, competencies and skills required for them to be able to carry out training in the field of education or in companies. The course is designed, on the one hand, for trainers with specific educational functions –teaching courses– and, on the other, for educational professionals who have responsibilities for managing and coordinating programmes and training courses, consultancy, research and evaluation.

The competencies acquired will be the following:

- To reflect on the concept and theory of the role of educator training in Europe and society in general, and on contemporary problems in particular, and to provide new theoretical references from pedagogical wisdom. 

-  To design and develop research projects that have arisen from a variety of fields and their problems

- To direct and manage educational organizations, services or equipment, and specialized departments by coordinating their members, designing projects, programming activities, and setting up, taking part in, supervising and evaluating work teams.

- To design, apply and evaluate strategies of educational intervention that are appropriate to individual, social and regional realities by analyzing the social, educational, political and working context.

- To provide pedagogical consultancy in several areas: individual, group and institutional.

Admission requirements

The Master's Degree coruses are open to anybody with an official university qualification, even Spanish or foreign (this foreign degree must enable you to be admitted to postgraduate studies in the country where you obtained it).

In addition, universities in charge of the organization of a Master can establish those procedures and requirements considered necessary to be finally admitted to the Master. Therefore, as well as having a previous official degree, you should get informed about additional conditions and selection criteria which may have been addittionally established by each Master.

Contents

Course taught in: the languages spoken in each country (except in Norway that courses will be taught in English)

The Master's degree is structured in 9 modules that will be taught over 2 years:

- 1 module of 2 credits (module G: Orientation and integration seminar that takes place with all the students from the five universities together before the beginning of the speciality.

- 8 modules that are divided into core subjects, common to all students from the five universities, and five obligatory subjects specific to the speciality of each University.

Module B: Evaluation for the improvement of education
- Common credits 6 (1st semester)
- URV credits- Training and Managing Human Resources: 7 (2nd semester)

Module C: Management of Education
- Common credits 6 (1st semester)
- URV credits- Training and Managing Human Resources: 7

Module D: Consultancy
- Common credits 6 (1st semester)
- URV credits- Training and Managing Human Resources: 7 (3rd semester)

Module E: Innovation
- Common credits 6 (1st semester)
- URV credits- Training and Managing Human Resources: 7 (3rd semester)

Module F: Research on the Professional Practice of Educators
- Common credits 7 (2nd semester)
- URV credits- Training and Managing Human Resources: 6 (3rd semester)

Module G: Seminar of Orientation and Integration
- Common credits 2 (2nd semester)

Module H: a) Practicum in institutions, services and companies
- Common credits 10 + 10 (3rd and 4th semester). These credits will be developed at the university in charge of the speciality. 

Module I: Research project on professional practice
- Common credits 20 (4th semester). These credits will be developed at the university in charge of the speciality.

Students can register at the university of their choice. For their fundamental credits, they must register at a university other than the university of their speciality.

Modes

- Professional 

The master´s degree Erasmus Mundus Mundufor-Education for professionals of education has 5 modes corresponding to the speciliaties offered by each of the 5 participant universities:

- Training to professional trainers in consulting and companies (University of Reims): elemental and high school teachers, companies´ trainers and consulting trainers.
- Training and Human Resources Management (University of Rovira i Virgili): managers and other personnel from Human Resources departments.
- Local Development and Adult Training (University of Porto): social educators, adult training educators and local development agents.
- Training for Trainers in Technical Education and Professional (University of Akershus): teachers from professional teaching centers specialized in technical education for companies.
- Training for University Teaching (University of Granada): university professors, graduate studies´ teachers, university training program trainers and managers.

Official Master's degrees offer specific Modes which will be effectively initiated -or not- depending on the number of students finally admitted.

Pre-registration

The preregistration period (1st phase) will begin on 1st March and end on 30th April.

If all the places available are not taken within this period, a new preregistration period will be opened (2nd phase) between 1st and 30th June.

The preregistration must be carried out on the Internet. The online form will become operative on the first day of the preregistration period. preregistration application.
