The Council is the body through which society participates in the University. A link between the two parts, it not only brings society’s needs and worries to the University but also is the means by which the potential of the activities carried out at the University are funneled into society. It is also the channel that the governing institutions use to inform and influence the decisions that affect the University. Another of its functions is to find companies to support projects and at the same time informs them of the services and knowledge that the University can provide them.
