The General Secretariat is entrusted to protect, safeguard and issue the documents and certificates of the general governing bodies, with the exception of the University Council.

It also communicates the decisions of the governing bodies and is responsible for drafting the annual report for the University and the Library and Documentation Service, the plan for preventing occupational risk, the plan of equipment for teaching and the plan of university investment.
